The great Russian drought

Twenty three regions in Russia are in a state of emergency because of extreme drought.

Since the start of the summer, record-breaking temperatures have caused crop devastation across the country -- a disaster for farmers that has repercussions on the global market too, since Russia is one of the world's largest exporter of cereals.

AFPTV has visited one of the most affected areas.
