New online trading portal on global capital markets

An online trading portal - www.gammacapitalmarkets.com - has just been created by Gamma Capital Markets Ltd, which helps traders with their trading activities in global markets.

As online trading is becoming popular, this portal features up-to-date news, education on trading markets and a live trading forum where traders and investors can interact with each other. On the forum, one can also read about the Malta Stock Exchange.

"Online trading gives investors the power to make decisions and the ability to trade from the comfort of their home or office at a cheaper price, with a close to an instantaneous transaction in the market using a trading platform," said Malcolm Cauchi, CEO of Gamma Capital Markets Ltd.

"We are also referring agents and introducing brokers and are able to educate clients on how to use the respective platforms, help them open their trading account with a broker or bank and act as account managers," Mr Cauchi added.

Clients will get leverage with their broker or bank, as they will be dealing with a local agent who will help them in the case of any dispute or problems.

Products on the website include Forex, stocks, CSDs, futures (commodities, interest rates and more), and Exchange Traded Funds.

Mr Cauchi has just returned to Malta after five years abroad, where he first started working for Saxo Bank in Copenhagen, was later relocated to London (www.timesofmalta.com/business/view/20071108/news/saxo-eyes-maltese-investors), where he headed a sales and trading desk as manager before moving to ODL Securities to work as a head of Italian desk.
