Floating houses

The second floating house in Geierswalde, eastern Germany (right), is seen being moored last Thursday. The house hosts two apartments, whereas the first house (left), installed in 2009, is a single unit of 97 square metres with a sun deck. The construction of a total of 20 floating houses is planned for the following years.
