Tribute to HMS Nelson

A fine painting of HMS Nelson by English marine artist Eric Tufnell will adorn the front cover of the real estate magazine, Perry, out with The Sunday Times tomorrow.

The history of the warship is immense and has a great Malta association. Apart from performing escort duties for supply convoys to the island, on September 29, 1943, Maresciallo Pietro Badoglio signed Italy's long-term surrender to the allies in the presence of General Dwight Eisenhower on board the Nelson in Grand Harbour.

Besides being featured on the magazine's front cover, this work of art will be on display for the public at the offices of Perry Ltd in Sliema.

Perry's property magazine is designed by Mediamaker Ltd and printed by Progress Press, both members of the Allied Group of Companies.
