I am an avid supporter of our Philharmonic Orchestra and was looking forward to the event organised by the Malta Council of Culture and the Arts, Classics Under the Stars, at Girgenti.

After phoning up several times to enquire about the tickets, I was informed that they would be available on Thursday, July 21.

Early on the day I went to Auberge de Castille to get the tickets only to find out that by 9 a.m. no more were available. Was this event organised for the public or were most of the seats already booked for the elite few before the rest of the tickets were made available? Taking into consideration the overwhelming response by the public, is it possible to repeat the performance at another date and venue?
