Ney Yorkers Jose Dolores Gomez, 22 and Frank Mejja, 20, were remanded in custody today after they pleaded not guilty to importing a kilo of cocaine in Malta.

The two were arrested by the police yesterday after capsules with the drug were found in their stomach. They had flown in on a flight from Amsterdam.
