Cleaner admits stealing camera, game
Patrick Cassar, 30, was placed under a probation order for three years today after admitting in court to stealing a camera and a Nintendo game from a hotel in Bugibba, where he worked as a cleaner.
The case happened last month.
Mr Cassar now works for a different company, also as a cleaner.
The court in handing down sentence noted that Mr Cassar had two previous convictions over a period of eight years and warned him that this was his last chance to reform himself.

i thought that people in this type of work need to provide a clean certificate of conduct.
i would not like to have this man entering my premises at all costs, so its up to the company that empoyes him to make sure that he has a clean conduct, as in this case he definetley hav'nt

A three times convicted thief is given another suspended sentence, so he can try again!
What a shameful mickey mouse court system we have in Malta - we need to build a new much bigger prison now, and start putting these career criminals behind bars, where they belong.
