(Human) meat business
The police have arraigned a butcher from Ħamrun on charges of human trafficking.
During the arraignment, Police Inspector Nezren Grixti asked that a van used to transport the migrants to the awaiting boat be confiscated and the assets of the accused frozen.
The accused's lawyers, José Herrera and Veronique Dalli, rebutted strongly, pointing out that their client's meat business would be jeopardised.
I fully agree with the complaints of Drs Herrera and Dalli: their client's alleged human meat business will be jeopardised.

I feel very uncomfortable with the wording of this letter, as it suggests conotations that I dare not explain nor imagine my wife's meat supply she bought this morning! The central attraction is the word BUTCHER as it relates itself to HUMAN TRAFFICING in a VAN with FROZEN MEAT ASSETS where the MEAT BUSINESS would be jeopardised. May I dare ask one question? WERE THE MIGRANTS ALIVE or just MEAT?
