Two men have been arrested by the Italian police for selling child porn material which also showed migrant children in Malta, the Italian media has reported.

The two, a 65-year-old businessman from Firenze and a 51-year-old former teacher from Venezia, are alleged to have sold porn pictures over the Internet to clients in Europe and the US. 166 financial transactions were noted.

The police operation, coordinated by the authorities in Firenze and Siracusa, found that the children were between 13 and 16 years old. They were given phone cards, mobile phones, clothes and other gifts in exchange for performing lewd acts.

Most of the children were photographed in Tunisia, Romania and Malta, as well as in Italy.
