More migrants land in Sicily
A boat carrying 17 migrants arrived undetected to Capo Rizzuto, Sicily, last night. The migrants were arrested on shore by policemen.
The migrants are believed to be Afghans, Kurds, Iraqis and Iranians.
There has been an upsurge in migrant arrivals on the Italian coast in the past few weeks and Malta saw the first arrival of a migrants' boat in nine months yesterday when 28 migrants were rescued from a sinking dinghy by a patrol boat. Another 27 migrants from the same boat were taken back to Libya by a Libyan patrol boat and taken back to Libya.

migrants come here because they can have peace of mind and respect of their rights in european countries, which may not always be the case in the 'rich' muslim countries.

Just a slight correction - Capo Rizzuto is in Italy, specifically in the province of Crotone in Calabria.

I am baffled by it all!
When are these countries receiving these emigrants going to stand and be counted? after all these are Moslems with bordering Moslem countries who are financially doing fine with their oil! it should be these country bordering, that should receive them not countries that are up to their neck in financial deficit.
This is what we need to really screw us more, after all those on top are living behind closed doors it is us who are paying the BILLS.

The migrants season has started. The only way to save Malta and Maltese citizens is to send all illegal immigrats back to their own countries.
