10.30 a.m. The President is presented with a book entitled Inside the MUT 1919-2009 by council members of the Malta Union of Teachers at the Palace, Valletta.

11 a.m. The President receives Mr and Mrs Spiteri and their daughter Cheyenne on a courtesy call at the Palace.

11 a.m. Mrs Abela presides over the Malta Community Chest Fund Working Committee at San Anton Palace, Attard.

5 p.m. The President and Mrs Abela preside over the sub-committee meeting of the August Moon Ball at Verdala Palace.

8.30 p.m. The President and Mrs Abela attend a reception hosted by Egyptian Ambassador Abdelmawgoud Elhabashy and Mrs Elhabashy on Egypt's National Day, at their residence in Kappara.

Tuesday

The President departs on a state visit to Montenegro.

Wednesday

7 p.m. Mrs Abela attends a mini concert for children organised by the Rotaract Club Malta La Valette at San Anton Gardens.

Saturday

8.30 p.m. The President and Mrs Abela attend the Joseph Calleja Concert at the Granaries, Floriana.
