Around 90 campers recently attended the Victoria Scout Group’s summer camp at Dwejra.
Each section followed a programme of activities. The Cub sections shared a common programme and toured ‘Ancient Egypt’, since their theme focused on Egyptian civilisation.
Troopers undertook a trip through outer space – across planets, moons and asteroids, while the Venture Unit built two towers and an entrance to the campsite.
A barbecue and campfire for parents and supporters was held mid-way through the camp.
Gozo Bishop Mario Grech, Victoria mayor Samuel Azzopardi and Scouts from Malta and abroad visited the camp.
