The fifth Edition of the P Cutajar Wine Experience is being held on at Razzett l-Abjad on Monday and Tuesday.

Six foreign experts and wine masters will share their expertise with patrons and guests during a number of wine workshops.

“As one of Malta’s leading importers of food and beverages once again we are offering clients, trade and the public a vast selection of great wines for sampling in lovely surroundings,” said Denis Zammit Cutajar, sales and marketing director at P. Cutajar & Co Ltd.

“As usual we are investing considerable effort to make this event both entertaining and educational, with the help of our foreign colleagues who every year contribute greatly to the success of our event.

“Our intention is to enhance people’s knowledge about the world of wine and give patrons an idea of the wine they are drinking and buying.”

The P. Cutajar Wine Experience offers attendees more than 30 wines from various countries including the famous regions of Burgundy, Piedmont, Puglia and Sicily.

Patrons will also have the opportunity to buy any of the wines they like, which could then be delivered to their homes at no charge.

The tutorials will focus on wines from Veneto and Piedmont, the Bordeaux region and Martini sparkling wines.

Representatives from Italian estates Bersano, Pasqua, and Martini, as well as from France’s Grand Chais de France, Laroche and Bouchard Aine & Fils will hold six tutorials between 8 and 10 p.m., offering tips on wine appreciation, grape origins, differences in grape varieties, wine regions of the world, fermentation processes, and the background and history of wines imported to Malta and enjoyed by local consumers.

Booking for the tutorials is recommended as space is limited.

Bookings can be made with Adrian Pace, tel: 2144 8466, email apace@pcutajar.com.mt or SMS 9922 3633.

There is a €5 admission fee and doors open at 7.30 pm. People under 17 will not be admitted.
