Six foreign experts and wine masters will share their knowledge at wine workshops at the fifth P. Cutajar Wine Experience at Razzett l-Abjad on Monday and Tuesday.
“As usual, we are investing considerable effort to make this event both entertaining and educational, with the help of our foreign colleagues who every year contribute greatly to the success of our event,” Denis Zammit Cutajar, sales and marketing director at P. Cutajar & Co Ltd, explained.
The P. Cutajar Wine Experience is well established in Malta’s rich summer wine and culture calendar and offers attendees no fewer than 30 wines from various countries, including Burgundy, Piedmont, Puglia and Sicily. Patrons will also be able to buy any of the wines they like with free delivery. Tutorials will focus on wines from Veneto and Piedmont, wines from the Bordeaux region, and Martini sparkling wines.
Representatives from Italian estates Bersano, Pasqua, and Martini, as well as from France’s Grand Chais de France, Laroche and Bouchard Aine & Fils will hold six tutorials between 8 and 10 p.m., offering tips on wine appreciation, grape origins, differences in grape varieties, wine regions of the world, fermentation processes, and the background and history of wines imported to Malta and enjoyed by local consumers.
Booking, which is recommended, can be made by calling Adrian Pace on 2144 8466, e-mail apace@pcutajar.com.mt or by sending a text message to 9922 3633. Admission fee is €5 per person. The event is open to patrons aged over 17.
