The final payment for the power station extension has to be made by not later than 30 days after completion date, Finance Minister Tonio Fenech said in Parliament.

He said that according to the contract with BWSC, the extension would be ready on June 5, 2012.

He was replying to a question in Parliament by Labour MP Anton Refalo.

The extension will cost €165m.
