I agree totally with the comment about the state of Dingli Rd. No matter how many times I have written to the proper authorities about this road, the answer was always that it is not within the budget. I think it will never be in the budget since there are always other priorities. I hope no humps or bumps are added to the already bumpy road. If one wishes to drive from Dingli to the Nigret district in Rabat, one has to accept to drive over a disaster road. If this wish comes during the Winter months, it is even worse! My hope and prayer is that those injured may heal quickly and return home strong and whole.

Would not surprise me that an accident happened on Dingli Rd. My husband and i were in Malta last year for holidays and the road conditions in certain areas are highly danergous. I wonder if the passengers in the rear of the vehicle were restrained with seat belts?
Its distressing to know that rear passengers in vehicles do not have to were seat belts. Wake up Malta!!!

Sorry to hear about this accident, hope the people involved in this accident will have a fast recovery.
Wanted to share a thought. Along this road, cars are sometimes driven at excessive speeds. There are residential areas, not only fields and farms: some sort of speed limiting has to be done (maybe speed bumps / humps and even zebra crossings for near bus stops and houses).

I ain't keeping count but there accidents seem to rise during the summer period. On this note I realised the tarmac is much less frippy during the sweltering heat because the upper surface starts to melt. (Food for thought)
