Violinist Carmine Lauri, co-leader of the London Symphony Orchestra, returned to his home country to perform in a violin and piano recital at the President's Palace courtyard. The duo of Lauri and pianist Simon Hester played works by Handel, Beethoven, Brahms, Grieg, Sarasate and Wieniawski to a full house on Saturday. The concert was part of the Malta Arts Festival.
