Ms. Vella,

You know very well that what you ask for is a clear breach of international law, a serious violation of human rights, the condemnation of several persons to illegal detention, torture, rape and possible death.

Dear Louise,
You should know by now that since Frontex started it’s operation, the performance of the said Frontex has been hope less to safe guide southern frontiers and on the contrarily it was providing a Ferry service to the African's.
As to main land Europe we all now that they are not bothered with us, infect we are aware what Brussels wanted to do from this year, when Frontex picks up the illegal immigrants from sea.........just dump them in MALTA, and thus solve the problem to main land Europe.
When will my fellow citizens will realize that Europe is not interested in MALTA, it is in my opinion that this government should wake up from his beauty sleep, and act in the interest of our beloved country because if GonziPn will continue to wait for Europe's help such help will never take place. Therefore, we should take the bull by its horn and tackle this problem on our own if need be.

@neil Falzon,
You are slandering Libya by making it sound as though that country is some sort of a modern day Dachau.
The only people breaking any international laws are probably us by keeping people here against their will.

If Libya is so bad, then why isn't it sanctioned? Where are the UN and the holier then you nations in all this mess? Lets face it, they were pretty active in the past to convince small countries like ours to sign the dublin treaty which literally forces immigrants to stay here even if they want to leave. Anyway I tend to take what the UN says with a pinch of salt. After all they are far from being saints. http://www.infowars.net/articles/january2007/030107UN_Sex.htm

Sexual allegations, corruption, allegations of turning a blind eye to genocide, UN ambulances used to carry weapons for Palestinian terrorists. Rest assured that I am not talking about Libya here.

no human institution is perfect - and yes, if libya is ill treating migrants it should be sanctioned: that in no way justifies malta in doing the same!
