Graziana Agius, B. Communications with Archaeology, first year.
Do you have a driving licence?
No, I don't have one.

Will you use public transport to get to University next year?
Yes, I probably will.

Do you think University students can get by without driving?
Yes - essentially they can. However, if public transport were more efficient and it took buses less time to arrive to their destinations, it would certainly be more attractive to students. Hopefully, efficiency will increase once the public transport reform is underway.

Edward Mario Camilleri, LLB, second year.
Do you have a driving licence?
Not yet, although I hope to get mine soon.

Will you use public transport to get to University next year?
Given that I usually walk to University, I don't think I'll make use of that option.

Do you think University students can get by without driving?
No, I don't think so - especially if they don't live close to campus.

Nathan Adams, BSc (Hons) Chemistry and Biology, first year.
Do you have a driving licence?
No I don't. I'm just an eye check-up and a theory paper away from my driving test, though. I hope to get my licence as soon as possible.

Will you use public transport to get to University next year?
I will still use public transport because parking on campus can be challenging to say the least and my bus route is quite convenient. It is also more environmentally friendly to carpool and make use of public transport.

Do you think University students can get by without driving?
Taking a lot of my postgraduate friends as an example, I believe University students can get by without driving. Not being able to drive does restrict one's freedom to a certain degree but students can still get by making use of public transport and 'bumming' lifts off friends.
