The marriage took place on June 29, at the Sacro Cuor parish church, Sliema, between JASON, son of Mr and Mrs Vince Caruana of Senglea and GILLIAN, daughter of Mr and Mrs Henry Bonett of Sliema. Nuptial Mass was celebrated by Fr Vincent Cachia. The ceremony was witnessed by Ms Erika Cutugno and Mrs Sharon Spiteri Lucas. Dr John Cutajar and Mr Vince Micallef carried out the duties of best men. The bride was attended by her daughters Miss Eli Foley, Miss Hannah Foley and Miss Eve Caruana. Mr Nikolas Cutugno and Mr Charlton Micallef were ushers. A reception was later held at The Villa Brasserie in Balluta. The couple will be spending their honeymoon in Santorini.

BASON. On July 9, at her home, ANNIE, of Żurrieq, aged 76, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Vincent, her two daughters Frances Joan and her husband Raymond and Josanne and her husband Sandro, her grandchildren Martha, Esther, Luca and Franco, her sisters Mary, Emmanuela, Antonia, Saveria, Jane, Betty and Clementina, her in-laws, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves her home tomorrow at 8.45 a.m. for Żurrieq parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9 a.m. followed by interment at St Leone Cemetery.
