The spokesman referred to in yesterday's article, Police Seize Driving Licences, is from Transport Malta, not the Transport Ministry as reported. The Times had sent the original questions to both the ministry and Transport Malta at the end of June. The newspaper kept chasing the ministry's PRO throughout the week and eventually sent her an e-mail informing her that unless the newspaper received the replies it would have to go ahead with the article, without the official replies.

The replies were eventually received that same day, but from Transport Malta.
