True economic recovery

Over the past few months, we've been fed a plethora of announcements of investment and new projects.

The Lufthansa Technik extension, the announcement of the new SR Technics and MCM aircraft maintenance facilities, the commencement of works on the new City Gate project, the White Rocks sports and leisure complex and the corporate village project are all creative and innovative ideas that will spur this country towards excelling in fields of importance to our islands.

The recovery shown by STMicroelectronics is as important as all the announcements mentioned above because it is the result of careful planning between the government and the private sector to ensure that crucial economic sectors of the economy are spurred on during difficult times.
