The Gordon Asciak Tennis Academy teamed up with Gilly's Tennis School, based at the Radisson Blu Resort, to hold a three-day junior tennis camp at the Marsa Sports Club.

Students from both schools participated in tennis and physical fitness sessions, under the expert guidance of fitness coach Ken Lake.

Some of the players who took part in the tennis camp are members of the junior tennis academy of the Malta Tennis Federation.

The coaching line-up for the tennis camp at Marsa featured Asciak, the national tennis coach, Gillian Galea, Helen Asciak, Koos Wehrmann, Elaine Genovese, Steffi Sullivan, Bradley Callus, Dean Callus, Simon Camilleri, Denzil Agius, Tom Abela , Nathan Bonello and Brenda Galea.

After the presentation of medals to all the participants, Asciak and Galea announced that they intend to organise another tennis camp in November.
