The producers of the popular Discovery docu-drama series "I Shouldn't Be Alive" are to film an episode in Malta later this month, featuring the story of two people lost on a deserted island for several weeks.

The series deals with survival stories about human endurance in extreme situations. The programmes are watched by millions.

The Producers' Creative Partnership said two doubles are being urgently sought to feature in the programme.

"Double" is the term used in the film industry for a person who looks similar in size and body shape to a main actor and who is able to perform a task that the actor cannot.

The doubles being sought in Malta are for filming this Friday afternoon. They are required to be able to jump "feet-first" from a popular diving spot in Malta that is 13 feet high. One double should be around 6 feet tall and have a waist of around 52 inches. The other should be around 5 feet 4 inches tall with a waist of around 38 inches.

They must not be bald.
