The AFM this morning joined the search for missing Hungarian, Kormendi Janos, 26.

His disappearance was reported by the police yesterday.

An AFM Alouette helicopter this morning flew low during a search off the Dragonara coast in St Julians. A patrol boat was also involved.

A police spokesman said such searches were normal.

Mr Janos was last seen wearing black Bermudas, a beige top and sandals.

The police said that anyone having information about him should phone in confidence on telephone number 119.
