A Soyuz spacecraft briefly undocked from the International Space Station and re-docked at a different module, Russian space officials said.

The Soyuz, with Russian cosmonaut Fyodor Yurchikhin and US astronauts Shannon Walker and Douglas Wheelock on board, undocked from the Zvezda module and docked with the Rassvet module, which is due to be fully adapted to the ISS on July 26, officials quoted by the RIA Novosti news agency said.

The Zvezda module would be used to dock a Progress cargo ship which is due to be launched on Wednesday from the Baikonur cosmodrome in Kazakhstan.
