High Commissioner of Malta Joseph Zammit Tabona and his wife Susan were recently invited by newly elected British Prime Minister David Cameron and his wife Samantha to 10 Downing Street to celebrate the Queen's birthday.

The Queen's official birthday was celebrated on June 12 with the ceremony of Trooping the Colour on Horseguards Parade, London.

Before the parade, the Prime Minister invited guests, including all the High Commissioners of the Commonwealth and the Ambassador of the Republic of Ireland.

Mr Zammit Tabona and his wife then watched Trooping the Colours from the Prime Minister's stand.
