Cioconat Lounge and Café Cuba at The Point, Tigné, are screening all World Cup matches live and offering promotions on various items in the car-free Pjazza Tigné at Tigné Point. Entrance is free and parking is at a special rate of €1 all night from 7 p.m. onwards.

Maria Assumpta Girls Secondary School, Ħamrun, will be organising its 50th anniversary reunion concert, 'School Aid', on the school grounds on Thursday at 7.30 p.m. Performers include Renato, Freddie Portelli, Natasha and Charlene, Georgina, Ira Losco, Fabrizio Faniello, Josephine Ebejer Grech and JAMM Band. There will also be fire jugglers, face painting and food and drink stands. Fee is €2 for adults and €1 for children, and proceeds are in aid of underprivileged children being cared for by religious communities and the Maria Assumpta Benevolent Fund. The Centre of Ignatian Spirituality is holding a workshop in Maltese on the Intensive Journal from July 11 at 6 p.m. to July 16 at 5.30 p.m. at Mount St Joseph retreat house, Targa Gap, Mosta. It will be facilitated by Fr Reno Grech, SJ. The Intensive Journal comprises a structure and techniques aimed at helping people gain a deep personal knowledge of themselves so as to grow more fully. It leads users through a set of structured written exercises that help draw the many parts of their life together into an integrated whole, including events in their history, people who matter to them, their body and work, society, their dreams, images, emotions and beliefs .
