Corinthia and Round Table sponsor holiday

Mathias Debono, 9, of Siġġiewi, was recently awarded a holiday to Disneyland, Paris, for himself and his family, by the Corinthia Palace Hotel and Spa, and the Round Table Malta 2, which organised various fundraising activities to fund the trip.

For a number of years, Mathias has been undergoing medical treatment at the Rainbow Ward, Mater Dei, as well as at the Royal Marsden Hospital in London.

The vacation is organised in partnership with Beyond the Moon, an international non-profit charitable association that aids seriously ill children by giving them and their family the opportunity to spend valuable quality time with their loved ones, in what could well be their last real vacation together.

Through such activities organised over the past few years by Corinthia team members, three other Maltese children suffering from a life-threatening disease, together with their immediate families, have enjoyed a completely cost-free and carefree holiday in similar child-friendly holiday destinations.
