Dear brother, it is a month today since you passed to the other life. You were determined to fight the illness and you did, with your typical dynamism. You said it was a win-win situation.
If you lived, you would continue with your everyday full life. If not, you would be with him, "the same Jesus who walked the streets of Palestine" - your words.
In the course of your short illness you encouraged and comforted others who were going through the pains and discomforts of sickness.
People who knew you continue to recount episodes of your kindness and humanity. Is that why you became ill? Because you cared for all and everything, to the depths of your being? Because you lived your principles and values in all the paths of your life? And you walked many paths.
Now you know all. You have met the living Jesus you believed in. May you rest in God's eternal love.
You will intercede for your most beloved family. We know that you are always there for us. We miss you terribly.
