100 years, 100 women, one cause

To celebrate its centenary this year, the M. Demajo group recently held a two-hour charity walk at Golden Bay.

Titled '100 years, 100 women, one cause', the event reflected the 100-year milestone of the group, as well as its ongoing efforts to give something back to society.

Spearheaded by women across the group, along with outsiders and friends, family or other stakeholders of the group, the activity aimed to raise awareness and generate funds for women's health issues.

A hundred women in pink T-shirts united for the cause. A substantial amount of money was raised through this activity and all donations were given to the Malta Hospice Movement.
