Deco is set to return to Portugal's line-up for their World Cup last-16 clash with Spain after recovering from a hip problem.

However, Carlos Queiroz is likely to be without winger Danny after he suffered bruising to his leg in the final group clash with Brazil.

Playmaker Deco is likely, therefore, to step straight into the XI in place of his injured team-mate for the Iberian derby in Cape Town on Tuesday.

The Portuguese Football Federation confirmed Danny needs treatment on the impact injury suffered in the goalless draw with Brazil, but Chelsea midfielder Deco trained yesterday after a two-game absence.
