Creating an Azimut Grande

Motor yacht-maker Azimut has created a collection of yachts one larger than the other. Four new models - as well as the forthcoming 120 SL - will see the light between now and 2013, from a 30-metre raised pilothouse model to a 40-metre tri-deck.

Azimut Yachts, part of the Benetti Group, is a brand that has customers all over the world. The Italian yacht-maker has now taken its expertise and customisation approach a step further with the launch of Azimut Grande.

All Azimut yachts above 30 metres have been christened 'Azimut Grande' and are a range of mega yachts destined to grow quickly over the next few years. 'Azimut Grande' stands for the unique process that starts with the owners' first request and ends with the delivery of their yacht.

"The market is taking off again and after months of negotiations, owners are again willing to close contracts, but are very attentive to the economic and financial capabilities of the builder," said Paolo Vitelli, group president and owner.
