As part of its centenary celebrations, M. Demajo Group last week gave the media a tour of its diverse operations.
With 25 companies, M. Demajo spans six sectors: the media were welcomed at the Valletta Waterfront, where the group is a major shareholder in Viset plc, the operator of the Valletta cruise liner terminal.
The open-top buses carrying the media also stopped at Multipackaging Ltd, the manufacturer of carton boxes, ICT company Exigy, the Piaggio Centre, and The Malta Experience where a digital show in 15 simultaneous narrations has just been launched.
During the morning's event, Illy Crema, the frozen coffee cream, was launched on the bastions of the Malta Experience café.
At Demajo House, guests were welcomed by deputy chairman Herman Miceli Demajo.
The group's centenary programme includes a collaboration project with heritage society Din L-Art Ħelwa for the restoration of the Queen Victoria statue in Pjazza Regina over the next month.
