Gunman murders baby
A gunman deliberately shot dead a baby during a stand-off with police in the US yesterday.
Police in Blossvale, New York said the man was outside a home when they arrived after an emergency phone call about a domestic dispute.
They shot him after he shot the three-month-old child and opened fire on them.
The gunman survived and was taken by helicopter to a local hospital. The baby was pronounced dead at the hospital.
