Con.Nexo’, an Italian IT consultancy firm, has relocated its head office operations from Italy to Malta, employing 20 people. The number of jobs will double by the end of the year.

The new offices, at Msida, were inaugurated today by Finance Minister Tonio Fenech, who said that the company’s presence fitted into the government’s Vision 2015 targets of creating jobs that offered value-added and opportunities for advancement.

Con.Nexo’ was established in 2004 and and now has a presence in four countries. It will open offices in the UK and South America next year.

The company said Malta was chosen as the preferred location for the head due to the availability of IT-trained people and government investment services.
