Three cars were damaged in what the police suspect is a case of arson in Triq Franza, Naxxar, at about 1.30 a.m. yesterday. A Toyota RAV4, a Volkswagen Passat and a Toyota Vitz were not completely destroyed due to swift action taken by their owners, neighbours and the Civil Protection Department. No-one was injured in the incident. The police are investigating.
