Labour leader Joseph Muscat has declared that medicine importers who abused should be named and shamed.

Alternattiva Demokratika has long been stating that whoever behaves dishonestly at the expense of the consumer and taxpayer should be exposed and indeed we have spoken out loud on the high prices of medicine imports.

But why limit this only to medicine importers, Dr Muscat? What about others who have made millions at the expense of Maltese taxpayers? I can mention two examples: A company building in a prime site in Sliema has been exonerated by the government from paying €3 million in fees for dumping at sea. Another company that has a long record of irregularities with its various building projects is believed by some to be behind a major one in Gozo.

Strangely enough, the PL has kept mum on these issues.

Any reason why the PL is not naming and shaming the protagonists of these misdeeds, Dr Muscat?
