This year, the Immaculate Conception parish church, Ħamrun is celebrating the 25th anniversary of the titular statue of the Immaculate Conception.

The parish had received the precious representation of its beloved patroness from the Archconfraternity of the Immaculate Conception, Valletta, on November 30, 1985.

To mark this special event, the parish's first group of altar boys is organising a reunion for ex-altar boys who, over the past 42 years, rendered service in this parish. Mass is being held on Saturday at 6.30 p.m., during which the artistic statue will be removed from its niche and placed in the church's nave for the week of festivities.

Following mass, the ex-altar boys will be asked to meet at the main parish hall.

This reunion will offer guests a unique opportunity to catch up after so many years and to cherish their love for Our Lady.
