Hundreds tour palace gardens for 'Gonna Mdawla'
Hundreds of people packed the President's private gardens at San Anton Palace yesterday during Gonna Mdawla, an event held to raise funds for the Community Chest Fund.
It was the first time that all sections of the gardens were opened. They were lit up with coloured lights and fjakkoli while the kitchen served Maltese dishes.
The President and Mrs Abela mingled with the crowd.

The event was great . Open spaces, good food, good music.
My congratulations to all those who organised it all.
The Mass , Fr. Hilary made it most interesting. The venue was very relaxing.
The sound system was PERFECT no humming, no resonance, no echo . Just perfect.
Just one point for future consideration
The organisation for cash points and collection of meals was not good.
A system of rails with 'in and out' would have done the job .
The salmon was exquisite.
Well done to all.

Lovely event. Nice to see the President and the First Lady mingle with the public.
