The Maltese Association of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta recently held its annual pilgrimage to Ta' Pinu Sanctuary. The first pilgrimage was held in 1990.

Around 200 sick people from hospitals and institutions in Malta and Gozo attended Mass celebrated by Gozo Bishop Mario Grech, together with Conventual and Magistral chaplains and spiritual directors of the volunteer groups of the Order, followed by a Eucharistic blessing. The Laudate Pueri choir took part.

After Mass, the pilgrims were taken to Ta' Ċenċ Hotel for lunch served by the knights and dames, who were led by the president Philip Farrugia Randon.
