Transport Malta is currently considering 12 applications by as many local councils for the creation of controlled residents' parking schemes.

Answering a parliamentary question by Stefan Buontempo (PL), Transport Minister Austin Gatt said the extensive Household Travel Survey currently under way by Transport Malta would yield important statistics and other information on the use of transport systems in Malta and Gozo.
