Brazilian forward Camilo has flown out to South Korea where he is expected to sign for Gyeongnam FC.

Camilo has been widely tipped to secure a move outside Malta on the back of his scoring exploits with Qormi last season.

A few weeks ago, Camilo, the BOV Premier League's top scorer with 24 goals last season, was strongly linked with a switch to Hertha Berlin after the German club's scouts and other officials came to Malta to have a close look at the striker in the final weeks of last season.

Sources have told The Times that Hertha wanted Camilo to join them for a trial before making a decision on whether to offer him a contract but their proposal met with a lukewarm response from the player and his representative, Eduardo do Nascimento.

The Brazilian has been more receptive to the approach from K-League club Gyeongnam who have tabled an offer, subject to Camilo passing his medical.

Back in January, Camilo was also the subject of interest from another South Korean club but he decided to stay with Qormi until the end of the season.

Meanwhile, Argentine forward Emiliano Lattes is set to be reunited with Sliema Wanderers coach Mark Marlow next season.

Lattes, who worked with Marlow during the latter's short tenure as Msida St Joseph coach last season, is close to agreeing a deal with Sliema who are looking to sign four new foreign players.

Sources close to the Blues also told The Times that Malta wing-back Clayton Failla is attracting the interest of Hibernians, his former club, and Valletta.
