Mamo TCV Advocates has been chosen as the winner of the Corporate International Magazine's Global Award Funds Advisory Firm Of The Year in Malta for 2010. Corporate INTL is an established leading monthly publication for business leaders, professional advisors and providers of finance throughout the world.
"The inclusion of Malta as a country in respect of which CorporateINTL awards the title Funds Advisory Firm Of The Year can be seen as a testimony to the fact that Malta has earned itself a place on the map of jurisdictions known as a domicile of choice for alternative investment funds," a statement by Mamo TCV Advocates said.
Over the past five years, there has been a steep growth in the number of funds, investment firms and other services providers setting up in, relocating to or providing cross-border services into Malta. The financial services sector has been identified by the Maltese government as one of the target sectors for development which will give the Maltese islands a comparative advantage by 2015.
Mamo TCV Advocates was nominated for the CorporateINTL's Funds Advisory Firm Of The Year in Malta on the basis of reviews conducted by the magazine's research department and won the award on the basis of its reputation in this area of practice, which is built on the firm's commitment to provide high quality, tailor made services for each client in a timely manner, the firm said.
"The firm aims to ensure that each collective investment scheme is structured and the offering documents are prepared so as to suit clients' particular needs, while ensuring adequate investor protection, in close co-operation with all the parties involved, including the fund administrator, depositary and auditors," it said.
Mamo TCV's Financial Services Department is headed by Joseph Saliba and Daniele Cop, assisted by a professional team.
