Irrational one-way system in Paceville

What is it going to take for the St Julians local council to realise that the one-way system out of Paceville is a total mistake and moreover extremely dangerous. One of the busiest towns on the island with four entrances and only one way out.

One of the busiest towns on the island with four entrances and only one way out. Illogical really - no other way of describing it. The noise from the clubs, the lack of parking for residents due to all the new hotels, the delivery trucks/tourist buses always stopping in the middle of the road, the loud drunkards at night - this wasn't enough to annoy the residents of the once quiet town. No - let us make this a "one-way out" commercial hub so that we may have congested streets day and night, where angry drivers can hoot their horns to add to the noise and pollution. Let us make it impossible for ambulances to get by if needed, let foreigners dining in the establishments nearby "eat our dust" and let us really frustrate the last of the elderly residents in this area.

Seriously now... who has benefited from this clever traffic management? The people involved in making the St Georges promenade wider and the people who installed the "temporary" speed bumps?
