Obelisk Auctions are holding their second Arms and Militaria auction between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Sunday with 300 lots under the hammer at the Corinthia Palace Hotel in Attard.
Military and sport-related arms as well as militaria dating back to the 19th century to recent times have been consigned by both local and foreign sources and most have never been on the market before.
Some items include a German Mauser C96 Schnellfeuer selective fire-pistol in 9x19 calibre complete with its original 20-shot magazine and a German Adams patent percussion revolver in 9mm Lefaucheux.
Bidding is open to licensed collectors or target shooters. However, those who are genuinely interested in the subject will be assisted in acquiring the necessary licences.
Viewing starts from Friday at 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. and continues on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Sunday from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
The auction is being held in collaboration with guest consultant Stephen Petroni.
