Two boys aged 14 and 16 and a 22-year-old man admitted in court today to stealing motorcycles in Zabbar and Xaghjra.

They admitted to stealing two motorcycles, driving dangerously and without insurance cover. They also admitted other thefts and receiving stolen property on and before last weekend.

22-year-old Roderick Grima also admitted stealing another motorcycle and dismantling it - the parts were found in a garage owned by the 14-year-old's family.

Grima was condemned to a two-year jail term suspended for four years. The boys were condemned to 18 months imprisonment also suspended for four years.
