Plymouth striker Rory Fallon and Middlesbrough's Chris Killen will lead New Zealand's World Cup challenge when they take on Slovakia in Group F tomorrow afternoon in Rustenburg.

Blackburn defender Ryan Nelsen captains the side, with Ipswich's Tommy Smith making it four England-based players bidding to give the All Whites their first win at the World Cup finals.

New Zealand have appeared once before at the World Cup - in 1982, when they lost all three of their group matches.

Manager Ricki Herbert named his side this afternoon, with Ivan Vicelich coming into the midfield in place of Tim Brown who is recovering from shoulder surgery.

Team: Paston, Reid, Nelsen (capt), Smith, Bertos, Vicelich, Elliott, Lockhead, Smeltz, Fallon, Killen.
