The Senate is largely responsible for the academic matters of the University, primarily regulating studies, research, documentation and exams. The Senate also establishes the entry regulations.
The Senate is composed of 36 members, including the rector, three pro-rectors, deans of the 11 faculties, another representative from each faculty, two members appointed by the institutes, the registrar, the librarian, two members appointed by the Ministry of Education, and four student representatives.
