The University Students Council (KSU) Education Commission is a structure composed of student representatives from Council, Senate, faculties, institutes, centres, KSU, and Junior College.

The commission is responsible for drafting the educational policy which is then adopted by KSU.

Quality assurance has always been at the forefront of KSU's agenda.

Throughout the past academic year, KSU conducted a campaign and a survey to enhance and enforce lecturer accountability, and ensure that, following the collective agreement with lecturers, these provide a service of an apt and expected level.

KSU teamed up with the University to promote and urge students to participate in an online and anonymous study-unit feedback exercise.

Through this, students played a critical part in the evaluation, development and enhancement of the quality of their education.

Meetings were also held with staff from the Academic Programmes Quality and Resources Unit and the pro-rector for academic affairs Prof. Alfred Vella. During these meetings, KSU pointed out a number of complaints which were received via the 'You Complain You Gain' campaign.

The Education Commission also conducted a survey among University and Junior College students to obtain feedback from students on various aspects, most specifically on the service being offered by lecturers and the University in general.
